What does inner beauty mean to you? Inner beauty means knowing who you are, what you stand for and what you are made. It is about establishing your own inner anchor and that inner confidence is what radiates through the eyes, skin and the external.
What are your 3 tips for inner beauty advice?
1. Nourish your body on a cellular level with wholefoods– Eat plenty of deeply coloured fruits and vegetables, fibre, good fats, free range and organic produce and ethically sourced protein.
2. Hydration is so important– Every cell, tissue, and organ needs water to function optimally. Water makes up: 90% of our lungs, 76% of our brain, 25% our bones, 75% our muscles that move our body, 82% of our blood that transports nutrients. Our body uses water to maintain its temperature, remove waste, and to lubricate our joints. Our brain, muscles, skin and organs are all made up of water.Just to perform our daily tasks, we require water and nutrients to think, walk, run and problem solve.
I recommend drinking x 8 glasses or 2 litres of water a day and make it fun. Add lemon to your water for flavour, which also promotes digestion.
3. A happy mind is connected to a happy body– Let go of the past, wash your mind like you would wash your body everyday of old stories, redundant or negative beliefs.
Tips: BEND
B – Be with our self, creating space in our daily life for quiet time, personal space to constantly reflect, regularity checking in with our higher self and guidance. This deeper connection within ourselves allows us to fill our cup so we can connect more with our tribe around us. A morning and evening ritual of MEDITATION and through the day use a wristband as a prop to catch yourself to reconnect back into the present moment – our most creative state.
E – Exercise move the body. Movement is a great way to build strength and endurance. Stretches and exercises promote fitness and gut health. Movement is another way to elevate our mindset, boosting emotional resilience. I custom stretches and exercises to maximise a positive mindset for you, helping you to shift difficult emotions and stress.
N – Nourish ourselves on a cellular level. Every meal is an opportunity to nourish ourselves and promote repair. Food is fuel and information to our cells that require nutrients to perform and heal.
D – Daily gratitude, journaling a way to process our day, to empty our mind of yesterday’s thoughts, old and redundant ideas, closing the tables in the mind. It is an opportunity to set up our intention to focus on what we want so we can make our goals a reality and make things happen for ourselves.
